Available Digital Media Shop Downloads: Toobix Soundtracks
The Mortex Vortex OST is a venture into the unknown reaches of space with an ambient electronic soundtrack. From the thick pads of Control: Perception and Brilliance to the hypnotizing bass and synthesizers of Control: Supremacy, your earthly worries will all be Forgotten -- unless you have the skill to best the alien mastermind Mortex at his own game, that is.
Hampton's Very Bad Day OST Hampton's day begins with the lighthearted Corndog Shuffle, but the pace quicly heats up. As the volcano explodes above him, the songs take you into a mixture of high energy breaks and hard trance tracks. On the Run and Beyond will keep your heart pumping with killer beats, while Inside Out will test just how far you are willing to go. The Hampton Megamix combines these last three tracks into a continuous stream of intense head-thumping audio (over 17 minutes long!)
The Frog vs. Fly OST witll take you back to a time when 8-bit games ruled the school. In Frog vs. Fly, e-effect captures the sound of a classic era when sore thumbs were a mark of pride. Froggin Frenzy and Swamp Thomp set the mood for whacking angry amphibians, while Flynale conveys the sense of joy and accomplishment felt after finally beating that last level.
E's Extras: Volume 1 gave e-effect a creative outlet during 2008 that extended beyond the video game realm. e-effect took to the studio to re-create himself month after month, and this first collection is the result. Filled with an ecletic mix of everything from electronica (Crusher and Current) to blues improv (Inside the Box) to heavy metal (Roboninjas Preview Pack), each track represents a different side of the enigmatic entity known as e-effect.
The Jungle Jam OST is the score behind the first minigame from Toobix. The game lets you create a mix of native rhythms by conducting a tribe of musical mice. E-effect takes it one step further in Native Funk by combining the sounds into his own unique toe-tapping tune. Time to get a little primal!
Rupert's Tales: Songs of the Seven Sirens OST features The Fool and the Fable to take you back in time with the unlikely hero, Rupert, as his ship steers course to the challenge of the Seven Sirens. This harpsichord-driven song creates the setting for the 3rd minigame at Toobix and will tell you much about our protagonist bard with its playful introduction and complex movements. Wether you're a seasoned adventurer or still earning your strings, Rupert and his theme song will put a smile on your face.
Songs Not Available in the Digital Media Shop...Yet!
The keyword is yet! You'll notice that some songs in the music player on the home page are not available for download from the Toobix Digital Media Shop. Why is this you ask? While the programming for DPRN is in full throttle, e-effect will be out of the studio for a brief time. Upon completion of the bulk of the game engine, e-effect will return to the studio and begin uploading ALL of his songs to the Toobix shop for download. This will include the new DPRN double album: one side for Roboninjas and one side for Dinopirates! Sign up for the Newsletter at the top of the page to get notified for these and other future releases.
